Day 5 of the 30 in 30 art challenge. Today it was time to try paint a little tighter. The winter Wren is a perky little bird and the detailing in the feather coloration is amazing. Painting tighter, i ended up with a much darker painting than I would prefer, another learning experience. This is the first time I used frisket and that is going to be a challenge. Knowing where to apply it and when to remove it and continue painting will be interesting.
