Female Northern Cardinal. 4 x 6
Day 20. 30 in 30. It's now 2/3 through the challenge an I have enjoyed the journey. Today it was painting the female cardinal, I like the muted tones and shading and since it is so different from the male I feel it's like a different bird. The head turn and tilt was a real challenge that worked up to a point, something I will continue to play with. Starting with the next painting I plan to add legs and feet.
